Comments: We have been using one 60KW and ten 1.5KW 3-phase Power Savers for a month since we bought them for our club on July 26, 2004. We paid 13,860 yuan for power last month and the bill for this month is 10,094 yuan. We can see the devices are obviously effective in power saving. All the electrical appliances have been running properly since the installation of Power Savers. The total saving rate is around 27%.

Test Result Analysis Report of Ezhi Internet Cafe


Ezhi Internet Café on Guangba Road of Wuchang started a test with Power Saver on September 2, 2004. A KWH meter was installed for each of the two 10-computer groups respectively. Power Saver was installed for one group. The following data were obtained by computer timer in the public test (Note: Power Saver in Table 1 and No power saver in Table 2).

Data analysis:

In Table 1, the total test time is 1759.7 hours and the power consumption is 259.6kwh (309.5-49.9). Table 2 indicates a total test time of 1635.8 hours and power consumption of 290.1kwh (340.9-50.8).

 

The results show that the computer group with Power Saver, despite its longer time (123.9 hours longer), has consumed 30.5kwh less than the other group. About 21kwh power is consumed in 123.9 hours, which means 10 computers have saved 51.5kwh in 10 days. So it’s concluded that approximately 154.5kwh (51.5 ×3) power can be saved by 10 computers with Power Saver in a month.

Removing oxidized carbon film: Transient imposes impact on all switches, contacts, coils and semiconductors, reducing power utilization of all electric devices in motor, lighting and systems. Researchers found that transient generates oxidized carbon film on switches and other contacts over time. Oxidized carbon film of every 1ohm impedance on motor contact causes 13% loss of motor efficiency. J.S.D Safe Electronic Power Saver can prevent formation of oxidized carbon film on contacts and circuits and gradually remove existing oxidized carbon film to improve system power utilization.


Harmonic suppression: Harmonic is caused by power distribution switches and other precision machines. It can change basic wave peak and raise electric current in the system. For systems suffering from complicated harmonic, J.S.D Safe Electronic Power Saver can create resonance frequency to suppress harmonic.


Raising power factor (PF): Each circuit system consumes two types of power, namely useful work and useless work. PF is the ratio between useful work and gross power. The higher PF, the higher useful work/gross power ratio and the more efficient system operation. In inductive load circuits, current wave peak occurs after voltage wave peak value. The interval between the two wave peak values can be presented with PF. The lower PF, the bigger interval. J.S.D Safe Electronic Power Saver can bring current wave peak and voltage wave peak closer again to boost system operation efficiency.
